All pseudo-classes the engine recognises.

Variants§

§

Hover

:hover - pointer over the element.

§

Focus

:focus - focus from any input source (pointer or keyboard).

§

FocusVisible

:focus-visible - keyboard-only focus (Tab / Shift-Tab, roving arrows, assistive tech). The runtime tracks how focus arrived via the FocusVisible marker; pointer clicks focus without it.

§

Active

:active - pressed.

§

Disabled

:disabled - routes bg to the disabled fill; the runtime Disabled marker gates input.

§

Checked

:checked - routes bg to the <toggle> checked track fill.

§

Selected

:selected - the active member of a selection group (tab strip button). Routes bg to Attributes::selected_bg; lumen_primitives::tabs::sync_tab_button_visuals swaps the fill at runtime as the Selected marker moves between siblings.

§

DragOver

:drag-over - an in-app drag is hovering this drop target with an acceptable payload (HTML5 dragover parity). The runtime DropHovered marker, maintained by lumen-os-dnd, gates it.

§

Root

:root - matches only the root element.

§

FirstChild

:first-child.

§

LastChild

:last-child.

§

OnlyChild

:only-child.

§

Empty

:empty - no element children, no non-whitespace text.

§

NthChild(AnB)

:nth-child(an+b).

§

Is(Vec<SelectorBuf>)

:is(...).

§

Where(Vec<SelectorBuf>)

:where(...).

§

Not(Vec<SelectorBuf>)

:not(...).
