Function parse_selector_list

Source
pub fn parse_selector_list(src: &str) -> Result<Vec<SelectorBuf>, String>
Expand description

Parse a CSS selector list ("#save, .row > .cell") into the same SelectorBuf chain the stylesheet front-end builds. The runtime query engine (query(sel)) calls this so a script selector runs through the one selector grammar Lumen already speaks; there is no second engine.

The grammar is the Selectors-4 subset the CSS parser accepts: tag / #id / .class / pseudo-classes, descendant / > / + / ~ combinators, and :is() / :where() / :not() / :nth-child() nesting. Errors return a message string.
