Errors raised while preparing the app.

Variants§

§

Read(PathBuf, Error)

Required input file missing or unreadable.

§

ParseHtml(String)

Markup failed to parse.

§

ParseCss(String)

CSS failed to parse.

§

ApplyCss(String)

CSS application failed.

§

Plugin(String)

A compiler plugin failed to load or one of its hooks failed. The message names the plugin.

§

Window(String)

The window backend could not run the app, or the build carries none.

§

LayoutEngine(String)

The build carries no layout engine.

§

Headless(String)

Headless mode failed to initialise (offscreen renderer or signal-handler install). Raised only by crate::run_headless::run_app_headless_rendered.

§

Render(String)

[render] backend names a backend this build does not carry, or the build carries none.

§

Script(String)

The app’s script failed to compile. Raised by check_app, which compiles the combined <script> source with the exact engine settings lumenc run loads with - a script that would die at load fails the check instead of false-passing.

§

Config(ConfigError)

lumen.toml is invalid (parse / read error).

§

Layout(FlatLayout)

The app’s code is at its root rather than under src/; carries the migration hint. See crate::app_layout::FlatLayout.

§

I18n(String)

A locale/*.ftl catalogue could not be read or parsed, or its filename is not a BCP-47 tag.

§

Artifact(String)

A precompiled AOT artifact failed to read / decode.

§

ParserDisabled

The runtime was built without the runtime-parse feature (parser removed) and asked to run an app from source rather than from a precompiled artifact. Pass --artifact <file> (built via lumenc build) or rebuild with --features runtime-parse.

§

Assets(PathBuf, String)

The .lpak archive named by RunOptions::assets could not be read.

§

impl<T> Downcast for T
where T: Any,

§

fn into_any(self: Box<T>) -> Box<dyn Any>

Convert Box<dyn Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Box<dyn Any>. Box<dyn Any> can then be further downcast into Box<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
§

fn into_any_rc(self: Rc<T>) -> Rc<dyn Any>

Convert Rc<Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Rc<Any>. Rc<Any> can then be further downcast into Rc<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
§

fn as_any(&self) -> &(dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &Any’s vtable from &Trait’s.
§

fn as_any_mut(&mut self) -> &mut (dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &mut Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &mut Any’s vtable from &mut Trait’s.
