Credentials

Enum Credentials

Source
pub enum Credentials {
    Omit,
    SameOrigin,
    Include,
}
Expand description

Which requests carry credentials (cookies, HTTP authentication, client certificates), with the meaning web fetch gives its credentials option.

A browser transport passes this to fetch. The desktop client has no page and ignores it, and an HttpHook that keeps credentials of its own reads it: Omit keeps a request out of it. The default is the browser’s own.

Variants§

§

Omit

Never send credentials, and ignore any a reply sets.

§

SameOrigin

Send credentials to the page’s own origin only.

§

Include

Send credentials to every origin, cross-origin included. The server has to allow it with Access-Control-Allow-Credentials.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Credentials

Source

pub const fn as_str(self) -> &'static str

The spelling a script writes, which is web fetch’s.

Source§

impl FromStr for Credentials

Source§

fn from_str(s: &str) -> Result<Self, Self::Err>

Read a script’s spelling. Exact and case-sensitive, like fetch: a misspelled value is an error rather than a silent default, since the default sends no cookies cross-origin and the failure would show up only as a server refusing the request.

Source§

type Err = UnknownCredentials

The associated error which can be returned from parsing.
Source§

impl Hash for Credentials

Source§

fn hash<__H: Hasher>(&self, state: &mut __H)

Feeds this value into the given Hasher. Read more

1.0.0 (const: unstable) · Source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
Source§

impl Serialize for Credentials

Source§

fn serialize<__S>(&self, __serializer: __S) -> Result<__S::Ok, __S::Error>
