Expand description

Author-set interaction-state paint: hover tint + press tint + focus outline, all on one component. Each field is Option-shaped so markup can opt into any subset. Absent component = no hover / press / focus visual feedback.

Fields§

§hover_tint: Option<Color>

Color blended into a solid Visuals::fill while hovered or focused. Markup: hover-bg="#xxx".

§press_tint: Option<Color>

Color blended into a solid fill while pressed. Wins over hover_tint. Markup: press-bg="#xxx".

§focus_outline: Option<FocusOutlineSpec>

Outline ring stroked around the entity while focused. Markup: focus-outline="<width>px <#color>".

§focus_visible_outline: Option<FocusOutlineSpec>

Outline ring shown only when focus arrived via the keyboard (CSS :focus-visible). Wins over Self::focus_outline while the FocusVisible marker is present; pointer-driven focus falls back to focus_outline (or nothing).

§hover_border: Option<Border>

Border swapped into Visuals::border while hovered. CSS: :hover { border: ... } (or the Lumen-native hover-border property). Snaps rather than tweening - same as CSS without a transition.

§focus_border: Option<Border>

Border swapped into Visuals::border while focused. Wins over Self::hover_border when both states are active (mirrors the skin convention that focus chrome is authored after hover).

impl Component for Interaction
where Self: Send + Sync + 'static,

Required Components: StyleOverrides.

A component’s Required Components are inserted whenever it is inserted. Note that this will also insert the required components of the required components, recursively, in depth-first order.

Source§

const STORAGE_TYPE: StorageType = bevy_ecs::component::StorageType::Table

A constant indicating the storage type used for this component.
Source§

type Mutability = Mutable

A marker type to assist Bevy with determining if this component is mutable, or immutable. Mutable components will have [Component<Mutability = Mutable>], while immutable components will instead have [Component<Mutability = Immutable>]. Read more

Registers required components. Read more
Source§

fn clone_behavior() -> ComponentCloneBehavior

Gets the on_remove [ComponentHook] for this [Component] if one is defined.
§

fn on_despawn() -> Option<for<'w> fn(DeferredWorld<'w>, HookContext)>

Gets the on_despawn [ComponentHook] for this [Component] if one is defined.
§

fn map_entities<E>(_this: &mut Self, _mapper: &mut E)
where E: EntityMapper,

Maps the entities on this component using the given [EntityMapper]. This is used to remap entities in contexts like scenes and entity cloning. When deriving [Component], this is populated by annotating fields containing entities with #[entities] Read more

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &Interaction) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 (const: unstable) · Source§
