[web] host - where the site is deployed, and so which rewrite file lets a deep path reach the app.

Variants§

Static

A plain file server, which serves 404.html for a path it has no file for. That is what the emitted 404.html is there for.

Netlify

Netlify: also write _redirects.

Vercel

Vercel: also write vercel.json.

Apache

Apache: also write .htaccess.

§

Nginx

nginx: also write nginx.conf, to include from a server block.
